Ellen Wieckowski

Ellen Wieckowski has been a Vice President and Chief Information Officer for nineteen years, most recently at Robert Morris University where she also served, for several years concurrently with her CIO role, as VP for Human Resources. She has been a member of the executive leadership team for three organizations.

Ellen began her career as a programmer and held technical positions of development lead, systems analyst, decision support analyst and project manager before transitioning to technology management. As a CIO she gained support and funding for global ERP systems, process automation, network architecture, CRM initiatives, and risk-based cybersecurity. Throughout her career she has mentored high school and college students and promoted technical and management development programs.

She was a two-time Finalist for the Pittsburgh Technology Council’s CIO of the Year awards.
