Karyna Kerin GoldmanSound Bath Meditation – A partnership of both science and mystery, but most importantly, an individual journey for each person based on your lived experiences and body. During a sound bath, sound waves are created by various instruments, such as Tibetan singing bowls, crystal singing bowls, chimes, gongs, drums, and more. These waves are converted into electrical signals by your brain – which triggers responses. Some of these responses can release hormones (such as dopamine, oxytocin, etc), shift your emotions, and create movement within your body. One of the main effects that sound waves have on your body is activating your parasympathetic nervous system (or rest and digest).
